Tutoring Program

Tutoring Group
In this partnership with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, youth aged 12-17 are provided with free homework help.  Our youth are matched with medical school students for one-to-one tutoring sessions held twice a week at the medical school.  Transportation to and from the medical school and a healthy light meal are provided.

Science Health DayScience Health Day
In this partnership with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, our youth aged 12-17 are given a first hand look at being a doctor or a nurse for a day.  Youth wear lab coats while they tour the medical school.  They observe different procedures being performed, learn more about the human body, and are introduced to the wide variety of medical professions.  Transportation to and from the medical school and two healthy meals are provided.

SATPrepClass

College Bound
In this partnership with The Princeton Review, our 10th and 11th graders are given the opportunity to prepare for and take the SAT, free of charge.  Students attend an 8-week course that includes test taking instruction and practice testing complete with scoring.  We provide students with transportation, healthy meals, and SAT registration.

IvyLeagueCollegeTour

Ivy League College Tours
In partnership with the minority fraternities of Harvard, Brown and Yale, we provide academically promising youth in our program with an opportunity to tour these schools.  Our students meet with college students who are “just like me.”  They see first hand what to expect in college and they realize that higher education can be within their reach.

collegeboundCollege Send-Off Program
Low-income students entering their first year of college receive a care package of school supplies, food, toiletries, and other items to get their academic year started.  Supplies are replenished when students return home for Winter Break.
Our Vision Without Boundaries programs provide academically promising, underprivileged youth the opportunity to succeed in school and contemplate careers outside their realm of experience.
